The Charbonnage No. 10 "du Gouffre" was the main and last coal factory of the Charbonnages du Gouffre company, which started its activities in 1916. This building in particular was built after in 1934. It was closed in 1969, then the site was converted into a zoo between 1979 and 1982 before becoming the property of a car deconstructor. It's now completely abandoned and well-known by urbexers in Belgium.
